What challenges have you faced in the course of Voluntary Blood Donation in Nigeria?

Voluntary blood donation has saved a lot of lives in Nigeria.

I often imagine how babies who suffer from severe malaria anemia or sickle cell anemia survive to reach adulthood without voluntary blood donors. We cannot also forget those patients who may be involved in accidents during which they may have lost lots of blood in the scene.

We definitely need to keep encouraging voluntary blood donation in the country because it is the only way we can save the lives of these people.

But all the same, we know the country we are in.

There is almost no perfect system here, but I bet some of us may have donated or attempted to donate blood once or more than once.

I want us to take a moment and briefly share our own experience on this discussion forum.
