Are apps useful for medical students in their studies? Well, the answer is that it depends on what the study app does. During my first year in medical school, just a few days after I got my medical school admission letter, I was head over heels for all the study resources I could find online.
I was looking to find; what apps do med students use to study?
In my search for the best resources for medical students, I found tons of free study apps for medical students. The truth is that Google never fails to display all forms of resources whenever you type in a query in the search bar.
And as naive as I was, I downloaded all the study resources I could lay my hands on including mobile apps for med students.
If I could remember vividly, my android phone then had a collection of over 20 study apps for medical students, all separated into different categories; anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, even clinical medicine, and surgery. I had all forms of applications useful for medical students of all classes including multiple-choice question applications. In my thinking, I would use them all as the need arises in different phases of my medical school journey.
But you know what?
Today I only have 5 study apps for medical students which I use almost on a daily basis. All my study applications for anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and pharmacology are no more.
